Kansas City, MO - Jan. 15, 2026 - Apex Engineers, Inc. announces the promotions of Aaron Kilgore and Matthew Conley to Senior Associates, making them part owners of the firm, and Daniel Meyer and Mark Spero to Associates.

These promotions reflect Apex Engineers' commitment to fostering growth from within and investing in people who are integral to the firm's success. Whether creating efficiencies behind the scenes or serving as trusted liaisons working with clients and partners, Aaron, Daniel, Matthew, and Mark have helped strengthen Apex's culture, expand its service offerings, and support the firm's continued growth across its offices and markets.

Aaron Kilgore, PE has been promoted to Senior Associate. He is an integral leader on our Kansas City commercial design team and is always ready to take on new challenges. Since joining Apex in 2016, Aaron has worked on several notable projects, including the KC Current Training Facility in Riverside, MO; the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care in Kansas City, MO; Mission Bowl Apartments in Mission, KS; the Compton Hotel in Bentonville, AR; and the Bentonville 8th Street Gateway Park in Bentonville, AR.

Matthew Conley, PE is now a Senior Associate. A member of our Denver team since 2016, Matt is the go-to resource for all things commercial design. He balances his time between leading complex design work, mentoring less-experienced engineers, and helping keep the firm's design standards up to date. As a new part-owner, Matt will continue to expand his role in business development and project proposal efforts.

Daniel Meyer, PE has been promoted to Associate. Dan founded the Apex Engineers forensics department in 2022 and now leads it, working to expand its client base and services. He was a member of the American Institutes of Architects (AIA) Kansas City Pillars Program 2019-2020 class, a selective leadership development program. A lifelong learner, Dan is eager to use his leadership skills to continue growing Apex's forensics department and contribute to the firm's overall success.

Mark Spero transitions into the role of Associate. Mark has been with Apex Engineers since 2014, leading our team of design technicians while also serving on the Research and Development team. He has played a key role in improving firmwide workflows, helping make our design and drawing processes more efficient, consistent, and accurate. Mark is passionate about producing high-quality construction documents and will be integral in advancing Apex's Revit standards and keeping the firm competitive as our tools and technologies evolve.

"As our firm looks toward the future, these individuals have already made countless contributions - from launching our forensics division to designing groundbreaking projects - and I look forward to seeing how they continue to shape Apex Engineers at the leadership level."

Bryce Crady, PE - Principal & CEO
