

PROJECT ENGINEER
The Details
As a Project Engineer 2, you will perform structural design procedures requiring knowledge and application of advanced engineering principles. The role requires judgment on the details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. For each project, you will partner with a senior engineer for review and QA. You will work with many different types of structures including medium to large commercial projects.
Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of construction materials including steel, concrete, wood, timber, etc

Strong knowledge of the residential (IRC), commercial (IBC) and existing (IEBC) I-codes.

Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one state or registered EIT with the ability to obtain license within 1 year of hire

Proven ability to effectively communicate with clients, peers, and others

Significant experience using Revit

The Basics
Experience: At least 3 years of post-college work in structural design
Education: Bachelor's in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
Certification: EIT in any state
