Terry Barton,
Principal, Licensed Geologist and
Professional Engineer
Terry is a licensed geologist and
professional engineer. He graduated from
Fort Hays State University with both a
master's and bachelor's degree in geology.
He also earned a bachelor's degree in civil
engineering from the University of Kansas.
Terry is a member of the American Concrete
Institute. Prior to beginning his
engineering career, he was the lead singer
in the rock band Submytion.
Bryce Crady,
Principal and Professional Engineer
Bryce is a
Professional Engineer specializing in
residential and commercial structural design
and plan review and consultation. He earned
a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
from the University of Kansas and a master’s
degree in structural engineering from the
University of Missouri-Kansas City. Bryce
has six years of field experience in the
residential and commercial construction
industry and more than nine years of engineering
experience. Bryce is currently licensed in
Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado,
Iowa, Oklahoma, Minnesota and Montana. He is
a member of the American Concrete Institute,
Structural Engineering Institute, American
Institute of Steel Construction, and
Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute.
Clayton Hess,
Principal and Professional Engineer
Clayton is a professional engineer
with licenses in Kansas and Missouri. A
graduate of the University of Kansas, Hess
earned a bachelor's degree in civil
engineering. With fourteen years
experience as an engineer, he has worked on
many major residential construction projects
across the metro area. He has worked on a wide
array of construction projects and brings focused
knowledge in the areas of foundation construction
and remediation to the Apex team. Clayton also
manages the special inspections department of our
company. He is a member of the
American Concrete Institute and serves on
the Lambda Chi Alpha corporation board.
Mike Brunin,
Professional Engineer
Mike is a graduate of the University of
Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in
architectural engineering. He joined Apex
Engineers as a full-time associate in May of
2005. His previous engineering and
construction experience involves a summer
internship as a residential framer, two
summers as a commercial laborer, and an
engineering internship at Apex.
Jason Gibson, Engineer-in-Training
Jason is a graduate of the University of
Kansas with a bachelor's degree in civil
engineering. After an internship with Apex
beginning in the summer of 2007, Jason
started as a full-time employee in June of
2008.
Jesse Clay, Draftsman
Jesse is a degreed Draftsman with 4 years of independent
and freelance experience. He is versed in Autodesk products
as well as Dassault Systemes. He has both 2D and 3D skills
in drafting with the knowledge of hand-drafting to support
the use of electronic media. He is a native of Kentucky
and spent the majority of his life assisting in many
independent and non-independent construction and home
remodel/improvement projects. He started full-time with
Apex Engineers full-time in the summer of 2011.
Logan Chamberlin, Engineering Intern
Logan has been an Intern
with Apex since October of 2010. He is
attending the University of Kansas and is
expected to graduate Spring 2012 with a
bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
J. Tyler Boydston, Engineering Intern
Tyler is an undergraduate student at the
University of Missouri-Columbia, studying
civil engineering. He began an internship
with Apex in May of 2011. He is a member of
the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Carol Cintra, Office
Manager
As office manager, Carol oversees all
administrative duties and works to keep Apex
Engineers running efficiently. She is
responsible for project assignments, keeping
track of project completion and delivery,
and accounting. Carol brings twelve years of
office experience to Apex.
Bethany Hahn, Office
Assistant
As an office assistant, Bethany assists with
administrative duties and manages updates to the Apex website.
She brings eight years of office experience to Apex.
