A Deck with a View... and an Outdoor Spiral Staircase

This multi-level deck added to the back of this home in Blue Springs, Missouri is another stunning Apex project. The project features three spiral staircases, continuous large diameter support posts and beautiful views from every level.

     This multi-layer deck was designed by Apex Engineers.       A view of the spiral staircases to the ground and 2 levels of the deck.

     Here you can see two levels of the deck and one of the spiral staircases.       Each of the corners presented a new engineering challenge.

     One of the deck corners where two levels meet.       Maintaining proper roof drainage was an important part of this project.

     Large diameter wood posts run through each of the layers.       This is a view going down one of the spiral staircases.

     Attaching the staircases to the posts required special engineering.       Here is a view from underneath the staircase.

     The multi-level deck adds a lot of architectural interest to this house.       To top it all off, this beautiful deck comes with spectacular views.
